Located in the heritage-listed St Cecilia’s school building, our centre features high ceilings, French doors, and polished timber floors, creating a home-like atmosphere where children can relax and feel at ease. We are licensed to provide education and care to a maximum of 49 children. Conveniently situated opposite Hamilton State School, we maintain a strong partnership with the school, enabling regular visits that help children explore and familiarize themselves with the primary school environment.About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Early Years Lead Educator who has worked as part of an inclusion support program to join our team. This role is part-time with an hourly rate of $27.49 for Certificate III qualified educators and $30.07 for Diploma qualified educators (negotiable).Key Responsibilities:
- Work with children to create enjoyable recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
- Collaborate with the established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Engage in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community, adhering to Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) OR an equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months to kindergarten age in a play-based learning environment.
