AddressWe are seeking an exceptional Room Leader for the toddler room to undertake one of the most vital roles, that of an Early Childhood Educator - nurturing and caring for children while guiding and supporting a remarkable team to achieve the same.
The successful candidate will:
- be expected to deliver the highest standard of care to the children at our center,
- implement our policies and procedures,
- participate in training sessions,
- manage a small team,
- devise and execute daily programs,
- document observations
- collaborate with the children's families,
Interested applicants must be able to:
- love and care for tiny humans - with respect and passion;
- be able to know young children as individuals, respecting their unique routines, and supporting them with all aspects of their daily care;
- educate their growing minds - develop and implementing educational activities at a moments notice, or a child's interest ‘right now’;
- write about children in an interesting and intelligent way; and
- support families to adjust to having you, and your team care for their most precious creations.
You must be a positive person with:
- a recognised Australian qualification in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent) at the Diploma, Graduate Diploma level, Bachelors or Masters level.
- a Working With Vulnerable People Check (ACT);
- Previous Room Leadership is desirable but not essential.
- Full Australian work rights; and
- a desire to work and thrive in a close knit team.
