We are a family owned child care world looking after Small Friends aged 2 to 5 years, providing a Pre-Kindy play based program in a free flow learning environment. The Position

• Position of Qualified/Working Towards Diploma Educator on the floor Working alongside our Team in Fixed Term Contract through to the end of  2024, with a possible extension into 2025. 
• 4 shifts (28-32 hours) per week with the earliest start time being 7:30am, and the latest shift finish at 5pm.
• If you are short listed a 4 hour paid trial shift will run before a contract is offered.
• Contract can begin within the next month and will run with a 3 month probationary period.

You Must Hold

• A Diploma or Certificate lll of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent) and proof that you are Working Towards your Diploma in ECEC
• A current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid HLTAID001 and CPR HLTAID001 certificates.
• Sound understanding and competent in the application of EYLF in your professional practices
• Have an understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

You Must

• Be ready to work in our fabulous free flow world with up to 40 children and 5-6 Educators throughout your day
• Be reliable, motivated, positive and an enthusiastic Educator
• Be confident in putting forward your ideas for all that will contribute to our world
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF
• Have excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Have great time management skills
• Build strong and positive relationships with families, children and the community
• Open to taking on relief shifts and be flexible with your hours 
• Thrive in a Team environment
• Facilitate children's learning through a child directed educational program
• Take responsibility for observing, evaluating, recording and planning for the educational program reflected by the early years learning framework.

• Our operational hours of 7:45am to 5pm means you won't be committing to split shifts; working before dawn breaks, or into the evening. Plus having a 2 week break at Christmas, means no crossing fingers to see who draws the short straw to work during the festive fortnight.
