About The Centre:
This center is a vibrant and beautiful centre located in Kawana, Rockhampton looking for new educators to breathe life back into the service. The center is licensed to cater to 151 children aged 0-5, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. They are committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care, fostering a sense of community, and supporting the development of each child's unique potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs and activities that promote the holistic development of children aged 0-5.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and independent learning.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration within the center community.
Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and providing feedback to families as required.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with national quality standards and licensing requirements.
Requirements:
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
Genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
