Known for not only their wine, they also offer their visitors and members a broad range of services including their restaurant, cellar door, events, experiences and membership club.

The team is led by the Founder/CEO, his son the General Manager and a leadership team of professionals, that boasts the resources and commitment to ensure the experience exceeds their visitor's and member's expectations. They are adding a newly created role to their team, which will lead and grow their Membership offering. Their philosophy is to treat members as extended family, with all the benefits that brings. That means member-only pricing, events and member-only wines, plus much more.

We are seeking an individual who is deeply passionate about building meaningful relationships and has a keen interest in food, wine and tourism. This position offers a unique blend of consumer relations, sales, business development, events, networking opportunities, and the ability to have input into initiatives based on personal insights and industry trends. The ideal candidate will be excited about fostering authentic connections within the wine community and driving innovative strategies, events, and experiences to grow their member base.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving and delivering member growth and will;

  • Execute sales strategy via phone calls, directly engaging with members to retain them and grow their current spend
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with club members and key clientele, focusing on enhancing the member value proposition and ensuring long-term engagement.
  • Increase recruitment of new members by leveraging existing relationships, through an enhanced member value proposition and by increasing visitation and team focus on recruitment.
  • Develop and execute strategies collaborating with the Restaurant Manager and Cellar Door Manager to elevate guest experiences resulting in increased recruitment and retail revenue in cellar door and dining areas.

You will have proven business development and sales experience in a similar environment and a knowledge of wine, hospitality and tourism will be highly regarded.

This role offers a great degree of autonomy, it is expected that you will take ownership of the day-to-day requirements and any projects allocated by the Executives.
