Join the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) as our Director, Culture and Capability in the People and Culture (P&C) division. In this leadership role, you'll drive strategic initiatives that elevate our workforce, cultivate a dynamic organisational culture, and lead a team of dynamic and passionate professionals. Your efforts will be crucial in delivering innovative people and culture solutions, managing workloads effectively, and advancing our workforce planning practices. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to make significant decisions and contribute to the positive transformation of QPT and the public service in Queensland.

About the role

The Director, Culture and Capability is situated within the People and Culture (P&C) portfolio at QPT. P&C focuses on delivering contemporary, innovative, and responsive people and culture solutions to support our strategic objectives during a period of significant digital transformation.

As the Director, Culture and Capability you will, drive and oversee the delivery of successful organisational culture, workload management and workforce planning initiatives. You will provide strategic direction and support teams to deliver services and initiatives to grow and improve organisational culture, capability and engagement. Reporting to the Executive Director People and Culture, you will lead a team of seven dedicated professionals ensuring the delivery of project and ongoing service delivery outcomes.

You bring deep expertise in people and culture services, with a proven ability to lead other leaders and achieve outcomes. Your leadership experience, strategic vision, and project management skills will be essential in driving initiatives that support QPT's strategic objectives. You are dedicated to fostering a capable, engaged, and resilient workforce.
