About the role
- The purpose of this role is to provide high level professional and operational leadership, strategic direction and advocacy in the management and delivery of Dietetic and Food Services at STARS within the Metro North Hospital and Health Service including clinical education and research. This position is responsible for ensuring alignment across multiple specialties and settings.

- Knowledge, skills and experience - Demonstrated high level dietetic and Food service knowledge, expertise and skill.
- Communication -
- Demonstrated high level communication skills and ability to influence relevant stakeholders and advocate for strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated high level of communication skills in all aspects of disseminating professional development learning to clinical and operational professionals, disseminating research findings and providing written and verbal reports to stakeholders.
- Leadership -
- Demonstrated ability to strategically lead Dietetics & Food Services across multiple streams and specialities including contributing to Metro North and State-wide initiatives, strategy and policy.
- Demonstrated high level managerial knowledge and skills to provide operational management of Dietetics and Food Services at the facility level
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of professional standards at the Metro North and State-wide level.
