Due to our continued growth and the exciting move to a new facility that is triple the size of our current site, MOCO is looking for a Head of Procurement to join and lead our Procurement team. Reporting directly to the CEO – Food Services, you will lead a dedicated team to tactically manage sourcing strategies, oversee purchasing activities, and cultivate strong supplier relationships.
As the Head of Procurement at Moco Food Services, you will play a pivotal role in optimising our supplier relationships and purchasing processes, directly contributing to our overall growth. Your efforts will drive growth opportunities, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness and ensure the seamless procurement of inspirational food solutions to our dynamic customer base.
About You
- Your background may not necessarily be in procurement, but coming from a non-traditional pathway you will have a deep and broad understanding of business functionality and a hunger to use your diverse skillset.
- Your leadership goes beyond traditional metrics, you aim for innovation, commercial excellence and market expansion.
- Your passion for procurement and ability to develop and lead teams is everything.
- You may not have experience in the food industry, but you are extremely passionate for food.
- Your proven track record of optimising financial performance and driving the bottom line through growth opportunities is unrivalled.
- Your strategic foresight and customer-focused approach will empower you to build collaborative relationships across functions and seamlessly extend procurement strategies to broader business goals.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
- The ability to leverage firsthand sales knowledge to align procurement strategies with market demands and business goals strategically.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to drive profitability by effectively managing procurement operations.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship building & management.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams and relationships.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and procurement technologies.
