The role
We are seeking an experienced delivery lead, The Digital Transformation Lead, will report to the Director, Next O&M Services, Worley Digital. The successful candidate will have strong delivery and project management skills and bring a deep understanding of solution & data architecture, data science, data processing and analytics & IoT systems. Deliver complex digital programs that include the creation, testing, implementation, and scaling of various types of digital twins or other Digital Transformation projects focusing in customers’ operations environments. Specific experience in Digital Twins and Asset Performance Management is important. Exceptional abilities in managing people.
Location – Perth, Australia - Remote/Hybrid Worley
Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with technical collaboration on early game sales meetings and proposals
- Plan, and orchestrate effectively across organizational boundaries
- Frame customer business and technical imperatives
- Build alliances and seek cross-functional support to achieve success
- Develop relationships with the customer IT/OT and technical stakeholders
- Plan, organize and manage project delivery required within set timelines and deadlines, budget and quality requirements and to meet or exceed customer expectations, using agile, waterfall or mixed project management methodologies
- Identify and implement solution and architecture best practices and standards
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for short business trips
- Build a high-performing delivery team
About You
As a seasoned professional in the digital solutions space, you are ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and challenging environment. You possess solid experience with cloud services, with a preference for Azure. Extensive knowledge of cloud environments, including microservices, IaaS, PaaS, and distributed architectures. Showcasing a track record of strong customer engagement. Ability to plan and orchestrate initiatives seamlessly across organisational boundaries.
Proven leadership skills, including the ability to manage a team, set examples, and build high-performing teams. Establish and nurture relationships with customer IT and technical stakeholders. Ability to bring technical depth, with expertise in delivering analytics/predictive analytics solutions, digital twins, and other IT or OT systems in project environments.
You’ll bring an agile mindset and a solid understanding of SCRUM, DSDM, or similar recognised agile methodologies. Experience working in agile teams and following formal processes. Experience with cloud and on-premises solution security and compliance controls is required. Capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications as needed, while maintaining the cognitive agility for strategic discussions with leadership.
Exceptional influencing and reasoning skills, adept at conflict resolution, and skilled in building consensus. While not mandatory, experience with Big 4 consulting firms is desirable.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled significant number of years of hands-on experience delivering innovative digital solutions in the Oil and Gas, Mining, or Aviation industries.
