This role is responsible for driving cloud innovation and initiatives which evaluate application technologies, establish methodologies and plan for low cost operational management of operating systems.The day to day
- Champion Architecture practices, improving ways of operation and working together in broader technology team to ensure alignment.
- Lead the team to develop strategic roadmaps in specialist areas including Cloud, Integration Patterns, Technology Infrastructure inc. workplace and Corporate Networks.
- Ensure solution design and blueprint compliance with Strategic designs by facilitating Solution Review Governance boards and working with peers across Architecture.
- Bring strategic insights in subject matter expertise to further enhance capability within the group, whilst providing adept guidance and support to business technical managers and other architects on major projects that are of strategic significance.
- Identify and investigate opportunities to utilise and integrate new technologies to provide cost effective and flexible solutions and improve efficiencies.
- Collaborate with a global workforce of technology professionals to maximise capacity and integrated communications capability
- Provide outstanding leadership within the team and across the Enterprise Architecture Function resulting in an impactful team through mentoring, and developing solution architects across the team.
- Relevant professional qualification in IT, Engineering, Business or Marketing field with technical diploma and certifications.
- Significant proven experience as a Solution Architect with Cloud Technologies and both modern and legacy Integration patterns, underpinned by hands on experience with Workplace Technologies, Infrastructure including virtual environments, in the telecommunications or financial services field working with Cloud, Infrastructure, Integration and/or Corporate Networks.
- Extensive experience in application cloud modernization strategies and technology debt frameworks.
- A sound understanding of the project management methodology and environment in an information technology organization; ability to modify project plans.
- Ability to analyse large amounts of information and produce reports and presentations in a clear and concise manner; i.e. financial data and present charts on breakdown of transfers and spend.
