Summary
We’re looking for a motivated and energetic Junior Designer to join our Product team based at our Head office in South Geelong. Reporting directly to our Product Manager, the primary objective of our Junior Designer is to design, develop and create new footwear and accessories, or modify existing designs to suit current trends from concept to completion. You will support the product development of your assigned accounts/categories and work with our Product Manager and Product Developer to ensure we meet the desired outcomes. You have a passion for Footwear, a thirst to learn and are ready to create innovative, comfortable and Enduring designs.

About You
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to work with Illustrator files and to do basic image retouching in Photoshop.
- Work experience is not necessary but your portfolio should show strong design problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt.
- Excellent time-management skills and a strong can-do attitude
- Proactive mindset with high level of autonomy and agility to work within a team.
- Great at recognising fashion trends and being able to translate into creative designs

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Design & Development of seasonal ranges and SMU's, sketching styles and selecting suitable materials
- Trend and seasonal forecasting
- Create production/tech packs
- Monitor product approvals including fits samples, quality swatches, lab dips, prints, trims, accessories and fabric qualities
- Coordinating sourcing of fabrics and trims related to products designed
- Liaise with factories and internal parties regarding problem solving and design approvals
- Liaise with the Product Developer on fit and styling throughout production process
- Preparing range presentations
- Assist with meeting preparations
- Present at EMU Australia conferences
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Product team but take responsibility for all set tasks
- Provide support for the Product team, with other tasks, as required
