About the CompanyOur client is a visionary company dedicated to driving impactful change towards a sustainable future with the mission to guide businesses and governments in embracing sustainability, and fostering long-term value creation.As a leader in climate change and sustainability consulting, you will spearhead business development and sales, shaping the Sydney practice to excel in strategy development, risk assessment, and reporting.Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development and sales efforts in Sydney.
• Lead projects focusing on climate change and sustainability strategy development.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure robust reporting and assurance processes.
• Collaborate with clients to implement sustainable business models.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Sydney team.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in sustainability practices.
• Establish and grow your own ESG Consulting team in Sydney.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary education in sustainability, science or engineering;
• 10+ years of consulting experience in sustainability;
• Deep expertise in strategy development, risk assessment, reporting, and assurance;
• Category 2 Registered Greenhouse and Energy Auditor certification with the Clean Energy Regulator;
• Demonstrated success in business development and team leadership;
• Collaborative leadership approach with effective stakeholder management and relationship-building skills;
• Exceptional commercial acumen and decision-making skills.
