Summary
Reporting to the GM Group Planning & Reporting, this role leads the Aristocrat IT Finance function. As a key strategic partner to the Aristocrat Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Global IT leadership team, the candidate must have strong leadership and relationship building skills with a strategic mindset, to enable the development of a trusted business partnership with the CIO and Global IT leadership team and alignment with their strategic goals. This individual will oversee one direct report and will be located in our Las Vegas, NV office on a hybrid schedule.Key to the role is to support the optimization of business performance through the provision of high-quality financial information and the successful implementation of Global IT business and Group Finance initiatives. The role requires collaboration across a wide range of global stakeholders including members of the Global IT business function, members of the Group Planning and Reporting team and the wider Global Finance teams.
What You'll Do
Partnership with the Global IT leadership team to build robust quarterly forecasts and annual budgets; through effective business partnering, insights, curiosity and challenge
Ownership of the Global IT Finance function, including review and delivery of month end reporting, forecasting and budgeting to Global IT leadership including identification of risks and opportunities to projected spend and recommendation of alternatives/options to improve financial performance.
Reporting of Global IT month end, budget and forecast results for consolidation into Total Global Functions results
Identify and implement transformation and process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency including the development of enhanced reporting, including self-service reporting for stakeholders, dashboards and visualization
Contribute to Aristocrat’s success by providing decision support to the IT leadership team and GM Planning and Reporting, including modelling and financial analysis for business case development and project costs and benefit tracking through the project lifecycle, including identification and communication of financial risks
Ownership and delivery of the Global IT cost allocation model annual review
Studio Model and Project Managers Office (PMO) support working closely with the Project team to ensure accurate forecasts and cost management
Support relevant audit and business risk management initiatives as required
Support delivery of Group Planning & Reporting and broader Group Finance initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce or related discipline
- CPA qualified desirable
- 12-15 years’ leadership experience in finance/accounting/FP&A based roles
- Strong people leadership experience, team coaching and performance management skills.
- Global stakeholder management experience, working in large, multi-layered, fast paced organizations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business. Proven ability to communicate effectively with both Finance and Business stakeholders.
- Ability to drive strategic thinking and continuous improvement, including the identification and delivery of transformation/automation opportunities
- Confidence to drive challenging conversations and make difficult decisions.
- Ability to see the big picture with ability to dive into the detail when required.
- Experience working with complex financial data to produce analysis including trend, forecast and KPIs, generating insights to improve efficiency, quality and performance.
- Oversight of the accuracy and timeliness of the accounting records and management reports, ensuring compliance with relevant internal policies and procedures to satisfy corporate governance requirements

- Financial planning tools (TM1, Microsoft AX, D365, Anaplan) experience/skills desirable
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with financial modelling experience
- This is a onsite- hybrid role based in Las Vegas, NV. At this time, we are not considering any applications that are not local to the required location listed in the job posting. Relocation will not be available for this position.
