About the role:
The Director, Governance and Program Management will be responsible for leading a new strategic oversight function in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division supporting the delivery of the reform program in mental health and alcohol and other drugs (AOD).

How you'll make a difference:
This role will provide oversight, coordination, and direction for the Division's governance ecosystem to support and streamline decision making; strong collaboration to plan and coordinate initiatives into a clear, deliverable program of work, creating formal methodologies for defining and monitoring against project key performance metrics; and strategic policy analysis and leadership to support the objectives of the reforms for the mental health wellbeing program.
The Director will work to deliver on priority initiatives to drive reform in mental health and AOD and ensure high level of oversight. The Director will be responsible for providing strategic advice to the Executive on the progress of key initiatives and risk management. The Director will ensure effective links across teams in the unit, branch, and division to support delivery of key initiatives. The Director will also develop and maintain strong relationships across the Division, demonstrate thought leadership and an ability to influence others.
