About the role
As a key leader, reporting to the Executive Director, Strategy and Quality, you will be responsible for driving improved data maturity and client insights. You will be accountable for the implementation of an Outcomes Framework, delivery of an evaluation program, a data maturity model and supporting the development of a Social Impact Measurement Framework and the development of a knowledge management strategy linking to our strategic Pillar 2 ‘Influencing Social Change’.
You will work closely with the Executive and other Senior Managers to ensure best practice approaches to evaluation and research that measures the outcomes and impact of the Organisation’s services.
Duties
- Collaborate with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams to identify business critical strategic and operational information needs, ensuring that data is used to support decision-making and planning processes
- Implement knowledge management practices that ensures knowledge is treated as a strategic asset, is systematically captured and shared across the organisation to drive performance
- Liaise with other organisations and stakeholders to undertake performance, outcome and impact benchmarking
- Analyse business intelligence activities-define consistent metrics and data sources for client reporting and develop and implement relevant dashboards for Operational and Executive management to analyse a range of client data sets within the organisations client data collection platforms
- Aggregate and analyse a range of client data sets within the organisation’s client data collection platforms
- Provide effective people and leadership that promotes employee engagement through the communication of clear expectations and feedback, provide regular recognition, develop talent an provide timely and effective management and resolution of issues and concerns

Skills and Experience
We want you to be successful in your new role! This means you’ll have:
- Tertiary qualifications in social impact measurement, evaluation, business analytics or equivalent
- Strong leadership skills and experience along with a highly collaborative approach
- A deep understanding of the development and implementation of contemporary knowledge management systems, data governance, outcomes frameworks and social impact measurement
- Ability to conceptualise analytics solutions, including design and development of business intelligence reports
- Understanding of data-related risks and opportunities, and relevant privacy, statutory and contractual reporting environments
- Significant experience in data analysis and reporting; community sector experience is a plus
To be considered for the role you will have experience supporting executive levels of management and demonstrate the ability to align insights and reporting to the strategic plan. It will be to your advantage if you have a proven track record of success in achieving organisational outcomes in knowledge management and outcomes frameworks and experience in compliance with Privacy and Data Security legislation. Leadership experience in a complex and diverse community-based services organisation is highly desirable.
