The Opportunity:
We have partnered exclusively with one of Melbourne’s largest health service to bring you a rare opportunity that has staff and workplace empowerment at its core!

As the Director of (Employee) Experience & Capability, your responsibilities will encompass a wide portfolio of projects and initiatives, including enhancing Employee Experience, fostering engagement, facilitating learning and development, and bolstering staff capability.

You will be at the forefront of defining the capability pipeline to fuel our Client's growth agenda over the next 5 years, ensuring their workforce remains agile and equipped for delivering successful health outcomes.

As a leader in this role, you will champion initiatives aimed at cultivating a supportive, accountable, and inclusive work environment where each individual and team can thrive!

The Role:
This role requires you to:

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality organisation capability services
  • Play a leadership role by providing support to people leaders and business managers
  • Lead the agenda for creating a high performing and enthusiastic workplace culture that champions accountability and collaboration
  • Source and deliver a range of management and leadership programs in alignment with the capability framework
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness and ensure risk management strategies and processes are embedded into work practices
  • Ensure the organisation has a comprehensive set of HR policies that comply with relevant legislation
To be successful in this role you must have:
  • A natural coaching interaction style, and a deep passion for developing people and organisations to be their best
  • Ability for creating work environments of psychological safety, where all staff feel safe being heard and are celebrated/rewarded
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources coupled with certification or experience in Organisation Psychology (essential)
  • Sound experience working in the healthcare sector, public, private or community health (essential)
  • Experience working in large and complex organisations of 5K+ employees
  • Experience and knowledge of Employee Experience, engagement, communication and capability
  • Have demonstrable experience developing and delivering Learning & Development projects/programs
  • Ability to apply original and creative strategic thinking to analyse complex problems and provide relevant solutions
  • Capability to positively engage with various working groups and internal stakeholders
In addition, you will be required to obtain a current National Police and Working with Children Check, as well as show evidence that you are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, the Influenza Flu or have an exemption validated by a medical professional.

The Offer:
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Melbourne and is paying up to $165K + Super (commensurate with experience), plus NFP salary packaging.
