About the role
As the Director Employee Experience, you will work closely with the Executive Director People & Culture, the ELT, the broader People & Culture team and all levels of the organisation in aligning employee experience strategies to the QTC Strategic Plan. This role will further strengthen employee experiences, uplifting current strategies and creating new ones. The strategies will be broad but include:
- Design and deliver team member experiences across the employee lifecycle, delivering a highly valued and sought after employee value proposition.
- Shape an inclusive, high-performance culture in a workplace of the future resulting in high team engagement and advocacy.
- Implement and continually improve the DEI strategy, governance and reporting to shape and sustain an inclusive team member experience.
- Enable a leadership ecosystem in which leaders excel and consistently enhance their team’s experience.
- Work with leaders to develop and implement the learning & development priorities for the business including development planning, needs analysis, and defining business wide capabilities.
- Deliver a talent management approach inclusive of succession, engagement and retention strategies.
- Drive the development, delivery and regular review of the Employee Experience strategy and plan, related budget, risks, change management and delivery.
About You
You are a leader with strong commercial acumen, interpersonal skills and a partnering approach to driving integrated culture strategies that result in high employee engagement and advocacy. This role requires an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, outstanding senior stakeholder management and experience in change management and/or transformation. Your positive and confident approach, and ability to get things done, will be valued. Success profile:
- Outstanding knowledge and thought leadership of trends in all areas of employee experience.
- Experience in leadership, coaching and team models and practical experience of their implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in DEI strategies, governance, and reporting.
- Strong communication presentation and facilitation skills across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience of managing projects and successful change management.
