The Director of Registrations and Engagement (the Director) will be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver support to the ACT Heritage Council in relation to Registrations and administration and Aboriginal engagement. The Director is also responsible for managing a team to deliver community engagement projects such as the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival and the ACT Heritage Grants Program.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Your suitability for this position will be assessed based on your skills, knowledge and behaviour in relation to the listed duties/responsibilities.
- Experience leading and managing teams responsible for administration of legislation.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as archaeology, architecture, engineering, history, landscape, architecture, nature conservation, object conservation, town planning, urban design, cultural geography is highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 1 May 2024 to 2 January 2025. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
