In this role, you will
This role is for 12 months in duration and leads a team of domain and solution architects across multiple technologies and business domains. The function you will lead has ultimate accountability for Technology Strategy & Architectural delivery on all initiatives from idea generation through to solution design and technology investment planning . You will also play a key strategic advisory role to business & IT stakeholders, advocate the strategic objectives of our business in Strategic Planning & Technology governance across Sydney Metro, and will directly contribute to risk assessment and budget planning across the technology portfolio.

About You
- You are a strategic thinker and outcomes-focused.
- Experience in Technology Investment roadmaps
- You have strong and have experience setting guidelines for the IT Team and ensuring that the IT strategy is delivered.
- You bring construction, middleware, integration and project delivery solution experience.
- Act as the lead technologist in the function and provide advice to the Chief Information Officer, clients and/or or peers to provide critical analysis and feedback on current or future technologies
- You bring a strong understanding of cyber security.
- You have strong experience defining, establishing and governing high-quality standards and guardrails to ensure that enterprise architecture enables the execution of the Metro and IT strategies
- Would be nice to have a strong data and insights architectural lens.
- You have strong experienced in building and leading teams of domain and solution architects.
- You bring strong experience in developing roadmaps for future state enterprise architecture of large, complex organisations.
- You have strong experience building a team and growing team maturity and capability.
- You have demonstrated experience in change management and engagement.
- You are experienced working in an unstructured environment and developing structures for an IT organisation, particularly for software and systems architecture.
