We are currently looking for passionate, professional and experienced disability Support Workers located across Melbourne who are flexible in their availability to work. Your role may vary and will include the following duties:
• Support with daily living skills and personal care
• Community access i.e. shopping, appointments
• Promoting independence and planning
• Helping participants achieve their individual goals.
• Home care/domestic duties
• Managing challenging behaviours / implementation of behaviour support plans.
• Providing practical , active and emotional support
Essential Criteria/ Skills and Experience
• Experience working in Disability/ Mental services industry
• Valid VIC drivers license
• Own reliable, licensed car with comprehensive car insurance
• Current National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
• Current Paid Working with Children Check
• First Aid Certificate/CPR Certificate
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm and flexibility
• Medications administration
• NDIS Workers Screening Check.
• Reliable smartphone with internet access.

Desirable Criteria
• Based on your work performance there is potential to progress to full-time/ part-time option.
• Experience working with NDIS/ Mental Health participants.
• Available work a rotating roster 24/7 and sleepover shifts
