As part of the Greenstaff Medical family, we employ highly experienced, skilled, and empathetic nurses and Support Workers across Melbourne. Our mission is to take the worry out of arranging personal and complex care for our clients.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Disability and NDIS Support Worker located in and around the Melbourne Area. Support Workers provide personalized and flexible care and support to clients in their homes. Support Workers will carry a caseload of clients to provide individualized support that promote independence and choice for the client.
Qualifications
Experience as a Support Worker, ideally 2 years working experience.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Experience working with NDIS clients and knowledge of NDIS framework..
Knowledge of Safeguarding principles and practices
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Technical Support skills to assist clients with personal devices.
Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care
2 x Covid plus 1 booster and Annual Influenza vaccines.
Working with Children Check
Current First Aid and CPR
Current Australian Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle incl. comprehensive insurance
