Requirements
We are seeking an exceptional professional with a strong understanding of the NDIS to play a pivotal role in shaping our organisation's future, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence. As our General Manager you will have strong leadership skills, be a confident decision-maker, helping our team develop and be successful, whilst being involved in the business growth and expansion of business offerings.
What you’ll be doing:
· Collaborate with the team to refine strategies for business growth.
· Maintain budgets and optimise expenses.
· Create and review policies and procedures.
· Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
· Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
· Prepare regular reports for our Director.
· Assist with business growth by building strong relationships with external stakeholders to attract new referrals for our services.
· Ensuring the business maintains a high level of compliance in alignment with the NDIS.
What you’ll bring:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals.
· Extensive experience in the NDIS and disability sector as a General Manager or similar role.
· Existing, robust connections within the sector, capable of opening doors and creating new opportunities for business growth.
· Demonstrated experience in planning, setting, and managing financial budgets and financial targets.
· Excellent negotiation skills and ability to problem solve.
· Knowledge of business process and functions within the different areas of the business to ensure they can meet requirements of the business.
· Capability in leading a team to deliver exceptional care to our participants.
· Successful track record of generating growth and new business by understanding the market demands.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, other government agencies and specialist support services, both internal and external.
What we would like you to have:
· Valid Victorian Driver License
· Tertiary degree or qualification in Disability, Health, or Business-related discipline.
· Significant experience in similar senior leadership roles
· An understanding of the NDIS, disability, and community services sector
· Ability to actively navigate and adapt to change.
· Working with Children Check
· NDIS Worker Screening Check
