We have an amazing opportunity for you, United Disability Care are seeking Passionate, Caring and Goal driven Service Leader for one of our NDIS registered SIL homes in Coffs Harbour, NSW. We are looking for our next Service Leader, to make a real difference in the lives of the people we support, while mentoring our core team and upholding excellent stakeholder communication.
You will work a fair balance of both client contact and non-contact hours, with UDC ensuring time is allocated for all compliance requirements.
You will be closely supported by an Area Manager and Senior Coordinator to make you feel right at home in our United Disability Care family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day operations, including roster coordination and general administration tasks.
- Provide leadership guidance and support to the support staff.
- Consult on behaviour support plans and team development.
- Support individuals with disabilities in their home and community.
- Attend team meetings and ensure policy compliance.
- Maintain regular contact with families and resolve any issues.
Requirements:
- Experience in the disability sector or providing disability support.
- Experience in high behaviours and restrictive practices.
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Current First and CPR certificates.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy and smartphone proficiency.
