About the roleAs a Disability Support Worker on our team, your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living skills, facilitating social and recreational activities, implementing health-promoting practices, and empowering participants to achieve their goals. You’ll work with individuals with varying needs, from low to complex, including medication assistance and managing complex needs. Prior experience and professionalism are strongly recommended.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
Establish positive relationships and collaborate effectively with staff, participants, their families, and friends to achieve positive outcomes and ensure smooth service delivery throughout participants’ plans.
Facilitate communication with participants’ families and friends to explore new goals, promote empowerment, and effective communication.
Enhance participants’ skills through active support, promoting independence and personal development.
Deliver high-quality and professional support aligned with participants’ plans and needs.
Assist participants in accessing their social communities, engaging with friends and social groups to encourage a healthier lifestyle.
Implement strategies and programs to develop and enhance participant skills, identify areas requiring increased support, and create opportunities for goal achievement.
About You:

Pay: $32.5 - $36 per hour
