We are currently looking for a female Support Worker to assist our clients based in Deception Bay and surrounding areas.
You must be available for an immediate start, sleepovers, weekends and day shifts on a rotating roster.
Experience with dementia care would be preferred, personal care and manual handling experience is essential.
25-30hrs per week
Duties will include but not limited to.
- Personal care
- Manual handling
- Community access
- Domestic duties
You will require
- A genuine desire to provide quality care and enhance the life of our clients
- Current drivers’ licence/own vehicle (with full comprehensive insurance) for transporting clients
- Current First Aid, CPR, Blue Card with Yellow Card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Card
- Computer skills with access to the internet and smart phone for rosters, timesheets and client reporting.
- NDIS Commission Worker Orientation Module.
- Infection Control Training
- Reliable, responsible attitude towards work, be able to follow direction, take initiative and able to commit to regular hours ongoing.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviour
- Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required
