About Beacon
Beacon Support is a registered provider of Disability Support services specialising in high clinical care. We have participants from Logan to Ipswich who are needing experienced staff who are great communicators to work as active and engaged Support Workers.
We are looking for people who are reliable, show good common sense, are confident at engaging with participants and genuinely work as active Support Workers at all times.
We are particularly looking for people who are interested in evening shifts (2pm to 10pm) and active overnights (10pm to 6am) although some morning shifts (6am to 2pm) may be available.
Role Requirements
- Active and engaged workers with a minimum of 2 years experience supporting people with a disability
- Certificate III in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support or similar is required
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS worker screening card and Blue card
- Current drivers’ licence and your own reliable vehicle
- Eligibility and right to work in Australia, with good open availability Candidates with limited available hours will not be suitable, including those on student visas as this client is best supported by people who are familiar to the them
- Good English language skills and a willingness to communicate are a must Strong accents and limited English skills will not be suitable due to the participants needs
