Disability Support Worker

Role Overview:

We are expanding rapidly and are looking to employ approx 10 new casual Disability Support Workers who share our desire to provide high quality support for NDIS participants. We have opportunities across all regions, but are mainly seeking Disability Support Workers who live in, or are willing to regularly travel to the Maitland area.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Good general availabity 
• Experience working as a Disability Support Worker or working in the Disability Support Sector
• A passion for supporting people living with a disability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional approach to all aspects of the role of Disability Support Worker
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check
• Police Check
• First Aid and CPR certificate
• Driver's License 
• A reliable car with Comprehensive Insurance

Position Summary

As a Disability Support Worker, working for Capacity Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to engage with individuals and groups in a variety of settings. These include participants' homes and various community locations. You may also be involved in supporting participants in educational environments, workplaces, social settings, and recreational activities. This diverse range of environments allows you to provide comprehensive and personalised support, ensuring that each participant's unique needs and goals are met in the most effective way possible.
