About the Role:
This role is perfect for someone with a person-centered approach, who has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with physical or intellectual disability, who enjoys a challenge, and who enjoys the rewarding feeling of making a difference in someone’s life.
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for a participant requiring support within the home involving In-Home Care and Community Access. Must own a car and have a full driving license.
Shifts available:
Flexible 3 hours shift daily (Monday – Sunday) – total = 15-21 hours a week
Positions may be available in Seddon.
Pay rate Minimum starting rate is $36.00 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends, and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).
Skills and Experience:
Desirable competencies:
- High Intensity Experience
- Personal Care Experience
- Must have a car and license
Experience and/or qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care, or equivalent (students currently studying in these areas, as well as Nursing, Physiotherapy, OT, and Paramedicine also encouraged to apply)
- Enthusiastic, positive approach to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability.
- Reliable, kind, and caring nature, with a good work ethic
- Well-presented and a professional approach
- Active with average physical fitness level
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of people’s individual support needs

Requirements:
- Current resume and 2 professional referees
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain before the commencement of employment.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer)
- Current driver's license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
