About the role:
We are currently looking for a bubbly and reliable Support Worker to join our team and assist our lovely young male client located in Beenleigh.
Our client has an engaging lifestyle in the community attending appointments and enjoys going to the park.
Assisting with: everyday living tasks, community access, light personal and domestic assistance
Due to the personal care requirements, this client has a strong Male support preference.
Service times are:
- 12:00 - 17:00 Monday
- 09:00 - 14:00 Tuesday
- 12:00 - 17:00 Wednesday
- 09:00 - 14:00 Friday
About yourself:
- An understanding of the disability sector and person-centered support
- Full Australian Driver's licence
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and caring approach
- The ability to impact each individual's life offering support with independence, empowerment, and inclusion in society.
To be considered for this role you must be able to provide the following:
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Second year Nursing student
- Minimum six months of recent experience (Aged Care or Disability sector)
- Valid Australian Driver's License, Reliable, and Registered Vehicle and current Car Insurance
- NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with children check
- Evidence of a COVID-19 vaccinations or medical contraindication certificate.
