Position Purpose
We are seeking Support Workers to provide a range of daily living supports to our clients with spinal cord/acquired brain injuries.
Shifts Available:
- 2 hour shifts available Monday to Friday
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience providing caring, high quality care support to people with Spinal cord Injuries and or Acquired Brain Injuries
- A positive attitude and responsible nature
- Attention to detail when writing shift notes
- Full Drivers license
- Behaviour management and diversional therapies
- Demonstrated commitment to community integration and consumer participation, and commitment to HCS values
- Excellent verbal communication and rapport building skills.
- Willingness to undertake hi-intensity care; Skin Checks, Medication Prompting and self-catheterisation support.
