Are you a passionate Support Worker? We are currently hiring Casual Support Workers for on going roles across Melbourne & Geelong. The role will see you help and support our clients with a range of daily tasks. These include but are not limited to; personal hygiene facilitation, mobility support, shopping tasks, food preparation, housework tasks, and the coordination of social their events.
As a qualified Support Worker and employee of Crescent Community Care you will work with us to deliver our mission. You will help empower and encourage your clients to improve their quality of life. This is a truly rewarding role for a dedicated Support Worker. You will get the opportunity to work across various locations where you will see no day the same.
To be successful for the role you must have the following;

NDIS Workers Screening Check
Police & Working With Children Check (WWC)
Car registration & Insurance
Cert III In Individual Support
NDIS Workers Orientation Module
Covid 19 Infection Control Training
First Aid & CPR
Assist Clients with Medication
Covid Vaccination Digital Certificate
Duties and responsibilities
Assisting people to perform important daily activities & household tasks
Undertaking tasks outside the home such as groceries & shopping
Ensuring a varied program of social activities
Providing personal care support
Supporting & Helping clients to start employment & to learn new skills
Working with doctors and therapists to ensure support
Demonstrating and supporting new life skills, such as budgeting
Adjusting and adapting communication and body language to suit client needs
Supporting clients to develop new hobbies and interests
Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments
