Our client located at Chermside is looking to increase their team, would prefer female support staff. You must have a high level of professionalism, have experience in personal care (high needs), catheter care, manual handling (hoisting experience), medication training, First Aid and CPR.
Shifts available are 6.30am to 9am then 2pm to 4.30pm 7days a week
Duties will include but not limited to.
- Personal care
- Community access
- Domestic duties
You will require
- A genuine desire to support people with disabilities, and believe in empowering people to live the life they love.
- Current drivers’ licence/own vehicle (with full comprehensive insurance) for transporting clients
- Manual handling (hoisting experience)
- Current First Aid CPR Blue Card with Yellow Card exemption or a current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Computer skills with access to the internet and smart phone for rosters, timesheets client reporting.
- NDIS Commission Worker Orientation Module.
- Infection Control training - COVID 19.
- Reliable, responsible attitude towards work, be able to follow direction, take initiative and able to commit to regular hours ongoing.
- Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required
