Casual Disability Support Worker
- Support clients with activities of daily living within a supported environment.
- Support clients to access meaningful activities and outings in the community.
- Work within a Support House environment.
- Have understanding of psychosocial support needs.
- Work in accordance with business policy and procedures.
- Ensure completion of appropriate documentation.
- Participate in the support program planning process for individual clients, assist with delivery of the program and document outcomes.
- Work with clients, clients family, relevant managers and allied health professionals to support the client's individual goals.
- Actively contribute to a team environment through open communication, participation in regular staff meetings, planning processes and policy review.
- Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or equivalent life experience.
- Current CV and cover letter
- Current NDIS worker screening check
- Current Working with Children check.
- Current First Aid Certificate including current CPR.
- Current P or C Class license.
- Ability to work therapeutically with clients to achieve goals in line with NDIS plans.
- Ability to work shift work and overnight shifts as required.
- Ability to accommodate roster changes to meet the needs of clients and the organisation.
- Ability to participate in team and multidisciplinary meetings as required by the clients and organisation.
