\*About the role\*
We are currently looking to fill out a few different shifts for a few different participants near Leichhardt, and Five Dock.
The client in Leichhardt requires afternoon, evening and possibly sleepover support.
The client residing in Fivedock requires support on Tuesday and Wednesdays in the morning.
The role of the Support Worker includes supporting clients with:
. Assisting the participant with daily activities
· Development of general living skills
· Household tasks
· Assisting participants in engaging in community activities

\*Your Skills and Experience\*
To be successful in the role, you will require the following skills and experience listed below:
· Experience working in the role of support work or similar
. Experience in working with participants with mental disabilities and autism
(Required training for working with every participant will be provided however below certificates are required from the candidates)
· A certificate in Ageing Support, Community Services, Health Services Assistant, Individual Support (Ageing, Ageing and Home and Community, or Disability), Mental Health and/or Youth Work or working towards or a willingness to enrol within 3 months and complete within 12 months of commencement.
· Certificate in manual handling and ability to assist the client with a physical disability if required

· A current National Police Clearance Certificate and has an issue date of fewer than 12 months ago.
. A certificate of your Covid vaccination (Candidates will need to demonstrate compliance, or willingness to comply with our Immunisation and Vaccination policy)
· A current HLTAID003 (or equivalent) First Aid Certificate
. A current NDIS worker's screening
· A current Working With Children Check
· A current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle.
