Whatyou'll do:
Asa Disability Support Worker, you will play a critical role in the lives ofparticipants by:
- Providing person-centered support to participants with disabilities
- Assisting participants in achieving their personal goals
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Promoting community inclusion and social engagement
- Supported decision making
Whatyou'll need:
- Finger Spelling Experience
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion to work in the disability sector
- Experience managing behaviours of concern
- Mental health experience (desirable)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Provide First Aid
- Drivers licence (Green P Plates minimum)
- Ability to work minimum 50 hours per fortnight and capacity to work a mixture of morning and afternoon shifts
