Devoted Healthcare is a registered disability service provider offering a range of services to people living with varying disabilities. Our primary aim is to meet our participant's support needs by matching compatible staff based on clients' preferences.We are seeking a candidate who enjoys being outdoors, being proactive, and is ready to take on challenges! We are seeking someone to commence as soon as possible.
The participant you will be supporting is very sociable, active, and enjoys being outdoors (e.g. fishing) and exploring new places. You will engage in a range of support needs to assist him on a daily basis. This role requires companionship, mentoring, positive behaviour support, and guidance. The ability to cook healthy delicious meals is desirable. Activities include assistance with daily living tasks, domestic tasks, administering medication, transport support, and community access.
Requirements for this role:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Proof of Working Rights in Australia
- First Aid certificate with CPR
- Medication competency
- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
- Certificate III in Individual Support or similar
- Relevant experience (strongly desired)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Readiness to learn and adapt
