SalaryWe require a committed team of female Support Workers, with the ability to follow defined health support processes, to support our male client with quadriplegia in the areas of:
- personal care
- wounds/pressure management
- catheter and bowel care.
Experience in these areas is preferred, however tailored training will be provided by our Management team and Registered Nurse on all aspects of supports required.
Supports also include domestic duties including food preparation, ideally with skills in preparing Asian cuisine.
Shifts are available across all days of the week, including weekends.
Our rosters are published 4 weeks in advance and we value committed and loyal staff.
Casual SCHADS Award Weekday rate of $40.26-41.53 + super depending on qualifications and experience. Higher rates for penalty rate shifts apply.
Essential Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience (6+ months), knowledge and understanding of people with an acquired injury now living with physical disabilities
- Experience providing complex health supports
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience providing respectful supports within a person's home
Plus Mandatory:
- Accredited Cert III or higher in Disability/Community services/Individual Supports/Nursing
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid including CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Training
- Manual Handling Training
