This is a great opportunity to be a part of a team that offers guidance, training, and ongoing support.You could earn up to $33.22 per hour as a base rate. Shift penalties also apply!Sylvanvale Limited is an award winning, not-for-profit services provider, supporting over 750 children and adults with a disability. We pride ourselves on assisting individuals, from a range of diverse cultural backgrounds, to live and participate in their community as they choose.This is an exciting service offering, where we provide drop-in support in apartment complexes for people with a disability who need some assistance to live independently. This support could include personal care, social support, cooking and cleaning assistance. This support is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so we have a variety of shifts available to suit anyone’s lifestyle.We are seeking compassionate, patient and kind natured individuals who:
- Have experience in either Disability Support or aged care, ideally with customers who have high intensity support needs and manual handling requirements.
- Can problem solve and negotiate with clients on support times.
- Have clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Can operate under time pressures and manage competing demands.
- Are open to learning about the new model and its’ differences to SIL.
