Team members receive support to achieve the skills required to deliver individualised Disability Support services – a great opportunity to improve and enhance your skills or transition from a different industry.
Disability Support Work is an important and rapidly expanding industry with high levels of satisfaction and security.
What Support is being provided :
Seeking caring and committed people to support a 59-year-old man with a spinal cord injury to remain living independently at home by helping him achieve daily activities such as:
- Duties include
- Assistance with personal care tasks
- Medication administration
- Assistance with therapy tasks
- Use of mobility equipment
- Light domestic assistance
- Meal preparation and Community participation
- Ventilator and Trachaeostomy Management
- Gastrostomy, catheter and bowel care
Shift Times
Shift times available are:
- 22:45 - 08:45 - few night shifts a week.
Requirements
- Current references
- Mobile phone
- Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle - essential
- NDIS Worker’s Clearance or willing to obtain
- First Aid Certificate
