Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
The Role:
We require a Support Worker to partner with a Participant based in Maryborough, QLD. Our participant sustained a spinal cord injury.
This role is commencing as soon as possible and is casual on-going. The participant requires support on weekdays and weekends from Shift-1-08:30am-14:30 and shift-2 14:30-20:30.
We are offering a pay rate of $38.75 per hour on day shift and $42.65 per hour on afternoon shift, plus weekend rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with domestic tasks
- Assistance with community access
- Bowel therapy - administering enema and digital stimulation
- Providing companionship
- Medication Prompting
- Capacity Building and Companionship
Skills & Experiences:
- Driver Licence + own vehicle
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current NDIS Screening Card or Yellow Card
- Current Blue Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
