The Opportunity
Orion Care is currently seeking an experienced Team Leader with a strong understanding of Mental Health for our South Australian operation (location primarily at Hackham, SA)
How you’ll make an impact as a Mental Health Clinician:
We are seeking an experienced Disability Team Leader with Mental Health experience to join our team. You will have experience in supporting people living with disabilities and complex Mental Health challenges.
Under the direction from our Clinical Care Manager Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing competent quality and efficient Mental Health support to our participants in the community working independently in accordance with Orion Care policies and procedures.
This role will work in with a 24/7 roster.
Certificates, Clearances, and documents required to be shortlisted for this position
- Relevant Mental Health Qualifications (diploma, certificate III/IV, degree)
- Current NDIS Worker Check (Mandatory before commencement)
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
- Passport
- Working Rights
- Current First Aid Face to Face
- Manual Handling Face to Face
- Assist with Medication Face to Face
- Drivers Licence - Must be P2 or Fully Licensed
- Car insurance and registration
Must have experience in:
- Mental Health
- Flexibility with hours with the ability to workdays, nights, weekends, and Public Holidays
- Experience working with complex participants
- Experience and training in PEG Feeding/Bowel care, Bladder Care, Catheter care, medications, ventilator management
- Experience in Nasogastric Management, Nasopharyngeal Suction, Seizure Management
