Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Storeperson to manage the inventory and stock of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods, maintaining accurate records of inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying the accuracy of the shipment against the purchase order
- Store goods in the appropriate location, ensuring that they are easily accessible and properly labeled
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts and location information
- Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring that they are complete and accurate
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and store goods
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed
- Communicate with other departments to ensure that inventory levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software
