Our Pascoe Vale pharmacy is looking for a personable, self-motivated and highly organised Dispensary Manager on a Permanent Full/Part Time basis with flexible hours.
The Dispensary Manager will be responsible for the dispensary and support the Pharmacists’ in providing a great patient experience and timely and accurate dispensary operation.
Working closely with the Pharmacists, your duties will include:
- Accurately dispense prescriptions in a timely manner,
- Maintain awareness of patients in-store at all times,
- Actively assist the Pharmacists’ in providing service and product information to patient’s including the provision of relevant and appropriate health information,
- Assisting with Dose Administration Aids,
- Being a team player and providing leadership, guidance and support to other team members,
- Ensure all dispensary administration duties are performed, including organising and maintaining the cleanliness of the dispensary area.
- Being responsible for the dispensary team and holding members to account
Prior dispensary management and stock control experience in the dispensary is essential to excel in this role. Experience as a Dispensary Manager working in a pharmacy in Australia is a must.
You will have effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills and work well within a team environment.
It is expected that you will be able to understand and follow instructions, have a high attention to detail, be able to show initiative and perform your duties with a sense of urgency. Similarly, you have strong leadership and problem-solving abilities and be committed to your on-going personal and professional development.
