PRIMARY DETAIL
THE ROLE
Campus Life is seeking a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Lead to join our dynamic and committed team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will lead and support the design, development, integration, and implementation of U@MQ’s diversity, equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Plan that is aligned to U@MQ’s objectives and services.
You will be responsible for supporting the Campus Life team to embed diversity and inclusion principles into all aspects of our business. In the process, you will positively impact the lives of students, staff and the wider community and effect change across a broad range of programs, initiatives, and ways of working.

In addition, you will meet the following selection criteria:
Relevant qualification and/or extensive experience in relevant field
Demonstrated experience in the design, development and implementation of equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, including those that drive customer participation, especially for underrepresented groups, in a diverse and complex environment
Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with Senior Leaders, Managers, and diverse stakeholder groups, including diversity partners, to enhance the customer experience and engagement levels
Understanding of best practice in supporting Senior Leaders, Managers, and staff in the integration of the DEIB Plan and the potential impact that may have on other business areas
Ability to apply knowledge of project management and change management principles to meet key deliverables
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and well-developed computer literacy skills
