Position Duties:
- Maintain a working knowledge of all task instructions, procedures and ensure that these are consistently adhered to when carrying out maintenance tasks;
- Demonstrate full compliance with the OHS and Environmental Management Systems by developing and participating in initiatives, toolbox meetings, investigations, training, assisting with the implementation/contributing to audits;
- Evaluate associated risks and hazards of each task prior to the commencement to ensure safe working environment and the utilization of correct equipment;
- Report all safety hazards, environmental hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns and potential plant or equipment stoppages;
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to contribute towards a safe work environment and efficient operation of the facilities;
- Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties - requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders, etc.
