What’s the role?Due to internal progression there is now an exciting opportunity for a Document Control Officer to join the Contracts and Project Management team on a permanent full-time basis.
In this role you will provide support to the Document Control Coordinator, Global Contracts & Projects Manager, and wider Order Acceptance team while ensuring effective Customer communication and prioritise incoming inquiries.
The Document Control Officer is responsible for gathering and transmitting information to Customers as per contract, ensuring all requirements are met. This includes standard data submissions and any additional communication agreed upon.
This role is responsible for maintaining various contract and document registers, both electronic and physical.

- Ability to identify, analyse and populate Customer-facing documentation.
- Proactive approach to documentation improvement and development.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate problems before they arise and take appropriate action to ensure that solutions are found.
- Ability to liaise and work with engineers and technical staff within RME at all levels.
- Experience in building rapport with Customers in order to maintain positive working relationships.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills with the ability to prepare and present professional reports and proposals.
- Efficient organisational skills with proven ability to determine work priorities, meeting deadlines and take follow-up action until finalisation.
- Knowledge of quality systems and their operation.
DESIRABLE
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience using Author-It and Document Management Systems (DMS).
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience using SolidWorks Enterprise PDM software.
LICENCES
- Possession of a current QLD ‘C’ Class Open Driver’s Licence
