Quality Assurance
The Document Controller/Administrator is responsible for:
- Managing records and documenting control as per current SDI’s procedure.
- Providing administration and office support for the department as required.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement to documentation control processes and procedures.
- Conducting work in a safe manner and demonstrating a strong commitment to SDI’s values of passion, accountability, respect, teamwork and innovation.
- Manages controlled documents via current electronic management system.
- Ensures consistency in document control processes and procedures in accordance with SDI’s requirements.
- Applies existing knowledge or develops new documentation management systems as a template to promote best practice and continuous improvement within SDI
- Provides support for users as required
- Retrieves Superseded & Obsolete documents as required
- Prepares and assists Quality audits, eg DQS annual site audits
- Supports the Quality Database Administrator as required
- Learns quality database, e.g LIMS, configuration and administration
- All SDI staff on site in Bayswater, particularly QC, Production, R&D, Warehouse, Export, Customer Service etc.
- Department of Foreign Affairs and various local Embassies.
- The position is located at Bayswater
- Working hours: 10-day fortnight
- May work in controlled environments requiring special gowning.
Bachelor's Degree
- Bachelor of IT/Science/Engineering is preferable
- Have an interest in database configuration and administration
- Interested in an administrative role and/or document controls
- Strong typing and office admin.
