Job Summary
As a result of significant business growth combined with a significant tender pipeline for 2024, we current seek an additional Document Controller to support our pre-contracts team. The role will report to the General Manager (Commercial) yet work closely with the Systems Manager to drive efficiencies in our document management. You will be responsible for processing internal and external documents while maintaining a range of management systems, including tender and contract submission processes.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintaining project related document control registers and systems
- Planning, recording document flow to and from all related parties, including clients, subcontractors and project offices
- Work closely with the business to gather content for document development
- Co-ordination with clients and stakeholders to ensure that the document control system and process are appropriate
- Issuing project documents to internal and external stakeholders
- Upload and retrieval of documents via file management systems such as Team Binder
- Ad-hoc administration duties when required
Qualifications/ Experience
To be considered for this role you will ideally possess
- Previous experience with Document Management Systems (Team Binder experience would be desirable)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Construction Contracting or Engineering business.
- Strong knowledge on Microsoft products such as Office, Excel, Word & Teams
- Strong organizational and efficient planning skills
- The ability to work in a team environment, managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
