Qualifications & experience
- 4 Years minimum recent experience in dog grooming, with mixed and pure breed clipping. Pay rate will depend on experience and standard of grooming and training.
- Demonstrated passion for animals.
- This is a seniour role, which will involve training students, and grooming to a high standard within a face paced work place. The ability to groom to an acceptable pace is of high importance to this role.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Building lasting relationships with students and customers and providing quality care to pets. Delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners by executing style requests, communicating clearly and honestly, and bringing a positive attitude to work each day.
- Provide exemplary cosmetic care for pets, being gentle and patient with anxious and difficult animals. Ability to wash, dry using multiple techniques including fluff and blasting, clip, trim, scissor and breed cut.
- Train students as per course and company requirements in pet grooming.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
- Well-developed verbal communication skills.
