Domain Architect (Corporate Services)

• Initial 12-month contract, with possible 2 x 12-month extensions
• No Award applies for this role: A maximum rate of $1150.00 per day is offered (inclusive of superannuation and casual loading) - dependant on skills and experience.
• 5 hours per day - 37.5 hours per week
• Australian Citizens required - Ability to obtain NV1

About the Role:

A Federal Government Agency requires a Domain Architect (Corporate Services) to provide technical leadership for the ongoing enhancement of their critical scheme systems, including the replacement of their ERP system. The successful candidate will have experience deploying ERP solutions and other related corporate tooling and productivity suites across significant sized enterprise class customer bases.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver high quality solution architectures that are fit for business purpose, ensuring compliance with the Enterprise Architecture reference models, principles, policies, standards and strategic ICT roadmap.
• Engage with the business to understand the tactical & strategic objectives and requirements.
• Provide technical oversight and facilitate complex issues resolution arising during project delivery.
• Ownership and accountability for the delivery of a coherent domain roadmap and the architecture of the various technical solutions to be deployed across the domain.
• Represent the domain throughout all internal ICT Governance Councils.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Minimum 8 years of Architecture experience.
• Broad technical & architectural background delivering solution architectures for projects.
• Experience balancing project and program, project and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.
• Ability to translate business capability into technical requirements.
